Game account: player name, e-mail address, password (hash only), language setting, timestamps (registration, last visit).
Game world: the position of your character inside the game world (game coordinates — no real location data, no GPS), steps and explored areas, your collection (companions, finds, index, chronicle), bag, market and trade offers, daily path and streaks.
Publicly visible: your player name appears as first discoverer on areas you entered first. Nearby players see your character and name while the setting "visible to others" is active — it is on by default and can be turned off at any time.
Processing is based on the performance of the user relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on legitimate interests in secure, undisturbed operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The newsletter is sent only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), revocable at any time.
Digital add-on content is sold via eBay. eBay processes purchase and payment data as an independent controller (eBay privacy policy). We only receive what is needed to deliver the purchased content (e.g. the purchased item and the redemption code).
The web app runs on a server at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the EU (Frankfurt) region; AWS processes data under the AWS privacy notice. A technically required session token (cookie) is set and expires after 30 days. Registration is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare Inc., USA; privacy policy). No advertising or analytics cookies are set; page views are counted anonymously on our own servers only (no IP storage, no personal reference, no third parties).
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can delete your account yourself in the world settings; your collection and game data are removed and first-discoverer entries are anonymised. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
Use requires a minimum age of 16 (Art. 8 GDPR). Parents of minors may request immediate deletion of all stored data.
