Cards and Supplies, Armin MüllerPolarstr. 24, 95448 Bayreuth
E-Mail: armin.mueller.bayreuth@gmail.com

Technischer Betrieb und Entwicklung erfolgen im Auftrag durch Tim Ebner (Anschrift im Impressum) auf Grundlage eines Vertrags zur Auftragsverarbeitung nach Art. 28 DSGVO.
4. Beanlings Booster
5. Pfadduell und Spielsuche
Was wir speichern.
Was dein Gegner sieht.
Privacy policy
As of 31 October 2026. This is a translation; the German version is legally binding.
Beanlings Booster is a collecting and card game from the Beanlings family at beanlings.com/booster. We only store what the game needs, do not sell data, show no ads and use no advertising or analytics trackers.
1. Controller
Cards and Supplies, Armin MüllerPolarstr. 24, 95448 Bayreuth, Germany
E-mail: armin.mueller.bayreuth@gmail.com
Phone: +49 160 96439378
Technical operation and development are carried out on our behalf by Tim Ebner (address in the legal notice) under a data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR.
2. Signing in with your Beanlings account
Beanlings Booster has no separate account. You sign in with your Beanlings account (player name, password, optional e-mail address, sign-in cookie). When you create a new account in the app, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a human sends the form (section 10). From your account, Beanlings Booster uses: the internal account number, your player name and display name and, if you have one, the number of your Kickoff club and your Kickoff friends list, because trading and challenges only happen between friends. We do not show the club name in Beanlings Booster. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Age confirmation (18 or older). Beanlings Booster is 18+. Before you can open boosters or play, you confirm once “I am 18 years or older” (when signing up in the app or the first time you open it with an existing account). We only store the date and time of this confirmation and how it was given, no date of birth and no ID. Purpose: keeping to the age limit and proof. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. Deletion: with your Booster data or your Beanlings account. If you do not confirm, we do not create a game state in Beanlings Booster.
3. Visiting the website
When you visit, our server briefly stores technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser identifier and the previously visited page. We need this to deliver the page and fend off attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
4. Beanlings Booster
For Beanlings Booster we process for your account: your cards (motif, tier, variant, serial number, origin “earned” or “bought”), openings and draws with time and a check value (seed) for traceability, trades with friends (accounts involved, cards, times), duels (opponent, cards, result), sparks, purchase records (quantity, price in Ink, time, age statement or parental confirmation, purchase lock) and the campaign details of your first visit (see section 7).
Purpose: providing the game, proving fair draws, protection against abuse, fulfilling purchase contracts. Legal bases: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (game and purchases), (c) (keeping purchase records), (f) (abuse protection, traceability). Deletion: with the account; purchase records after the statutory periods.
Purchases with Ink are currently not switched on. Once they are, we transmit your account number, the amount in Ink and a purchase ID to pinnry (Cards and Supplies) for the debit.
5. Path duel and matchmaking
What we store. Your decks (name and cards), your games (both sides, the decks as a snapshot, terrain, the hidden moves of every round, result, whether time ran out and the AI played for a side, abandons, rating change, sparks) and your rating (number, tier, number of games and wins, whether you played the practice game, when you were last in the path duel). When you look for an opponent, your account with rating and deck is in the queue until an opponent is found or you cancel.
What your opponent sees. In games against humans your opponent sees your Beanlings player name, your rating with tier and the game data: the cards you put on the paths once they are revealed, the number of cards in your hand, whether you have already played this round, the result and your quick reactions. Your hand and your move before the reveal stay hidden.
Turn-based games. If nobody is live, you can play turn-based against a real human. For this we pick an account with a similar rating that was in the path duel within the last 14 days and has cards; it plays with its deck suggestion and sees the game in its list. You can be picked as an opponent in the same way.
Purpose: providing the game, fair games and ratings. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Deletion: matchmaking entries as soon as a game is found or you cancel, orphaned entries after one hour; finished games twelve months after they end; decks and rating with your account.
6. Quick reactions, reporting and blocking
Games against humans have no chat, only six fixed quick reactions such as “Well played”. We store the reaction with its time in the game; it is deleted with the game.
If you report an opponent, we store your account, the reported account, the game, the chosen reason and the time. Only we as operators see reports; the reported account does not learn who reported. If you block someone, we store the pair so you are no longer matched and they cannot challenge you; they are not notified.
Purpose: fair play and protection against abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a fair, respectful game). Deletion: reports after twelve months, blocks when you lift them, everything at the latest with your account. There is no automated decision with legal effect within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR; a human decides about bans.
7. Origin measurement
To see which campaign, link or website brought you to Beanlings Booster, we store once, when your Booster game data is first created, the campaign details from the link you opened (e.g. utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content or a partner code such as ?von=), the domain of the referring website, whether you came via an app, and the time. We set no cookies for this and store nothing additional in your browser; we do not pass these details on to third parties. They are deleted with your account. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, legitimate interest in measuring the success of our advertising.
8. Find wall
If you pull a card of the tier “Mythic” or higher, the find appears on the find wall in the app (card, tier, number, time). We only show your display name there if you have switched it on in the settings (gear at the top) under “Privacy” (default: off). You can switch it off at any time; the name then also disappears from earlier finds. Legal basis for showing the name is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time; for the find without a name Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
9. Community: leaderboards and “Just happened”
In the “Community” area we show leaderboards (path duel overall and this week: rating, tier, wins, number of duels; collectors: collection points, binder progress, number of different cards), the weekly winners with an honour badge and a short “Just happened” list (rare finds from “Epic” upwards, rank-ups in the path duel, weekly winners). The path duel leaderboard lists anyone who has played at least 3 rated duels against people; games against the AI do not count. We show your Booster display name, never your club, e-mail or account number. There is no chat and no free text.
Purpose: community, comparison and the weekly reward (places 1 to 3 of the weekly leaderboard each receive a booster). Legal basis for ratings, places and rewards is the performance of the user agreement (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR); for showing your display name in Leaderboards, rank-ups and weekly wins our legitimate interest in a lively player community (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Objection (opt-out): with the setting “Appear anonymously in leaderboards” in the settings (gear at the top) we show “A collector #” with four random-looking characters instead of your name, which do not reveal your account; this also applies to earlier entries within a minute. Rare finds appear in “Just happened” without a name unless you have switched on your name for the find wall (section 8). We delete “Just happened” entries after 30 days and the list of weekly winners after 12 months.
9a. League and tournaments in the path duel
If you join the league or sign up for a tournament, we process: your league (Clearing to Summit), your group of the week with place, points and results, your league games (opponent, cards, moves, result as in the path duel, section 5), promotion and relegation, your tournament sign-ups (tournament, class, chosen deck, time), pairings, results, final places and prizes (boosters, tournament badge, promo cards with the number of rounds you played yourself). In group and tournament tables the other participants see your display name or, with the setting “Appear anonymously in leaderboards”, “A collector #” with four characters. Tournament winners and promoted players appear in “Just happened” (section 9). Places filled by an AI are always marked as AI; there is no person behind them.
Purpose: competition against opponents of similar strength, schedule, scoring and prizes. Legal basis is the performance of the user agreement (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR); for showing your name in tables and in the feed our legitimate interest in a lively community (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), objection via the anonymous setting. Retention: tournament sign-ups are deleted 30 days after the tournament, league groups, league history and tournament results after 12 months, games as in section 5. Your current league standing is kept as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete league standing, history and sign-ups; old tables keep only a nameless place (“deleted”).
9b. Newsletter, bonus boosters and special draw
Newsletter. If you sign up for the Beanlings newsletter in the app, we process your e-mail address (from your account or from the field, in which case it is also stored in your account), your player name for the greeting, the time of your consent and of your confirmation, the status of the subscription and a random identifier for the confirmation and unsubscribe links. The subscription only becomes active when you click the link in the confirmation e-mail (double opt-in). The newsletter contains news about the Beanlings games. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future: via the link in every issue or in the app under “Info”. After unsubscribing you no longer receive the newsletter; we keep the status “unsubscribed” and the times of consent and confirmation as proof as long as your account exists (Art. 6 (1) (c) and (f), Art. 7 (1) GDPR). The e-mails are sent via our e-mail service providers (section 11).
Bonus boosters. So that the bonus is only given once per account and per e-mail address, we store with your account a check value of your address (encrypted hash from which the address cannot be recalculated), the way (sign-up in the app or button) and the time. Legal bases: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (crediting the bonus) and (f) (legitimate interest in preventing multiple claims). We delete the check value twelve months after your account is deleted.
Special draw. For the weekly draw we process whether your Booster account with a confirmed newsletter takes part, per week the list of participating internal account numbers, the random number (seed), the winners, the credited special booster and whether you have seen the win notice. The legal basis is running the draw under the terms (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). In “Just happened” we show a win with your display name only if you have switched on your name for the find wall (consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, section 8), otherwise without a name. We delete draws after twelve months and entries in “Just happened” after 30 days. If you delete your account, we remove your account number from the winners.
10. Local storage and services
Beanlings Booster sets no cookies of its own apart from the sign-in cookie of your Beanlings account (play_token). There are no analytics or advertising cookies, no trackers and no tracking pixels; the origin measurement (section 7) also works without a cookie and without storing anything in your browser. Your browser stores locally (localStorage) only these entries, and only on your device:
- bo_sprache: the language you chose (Deutsch or English),
- bo_probe: whether you have opened the trial booster,
- bo_design: the design variant you chose (only if you picked another one),
- bo_bewegung and bo_neigung: your effect settings (reduce motion, foil follows when you tilt).
In addition, for faster loading, graphics, fonts and program parts of the app (service worker). This is technically necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG); you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. These entries never leave your device and are therefore not part of the data export. We deliver fonts and graphics ourselves. The app uses your phone's tilt sensor only on the device for the foil shine; nothing is transmitted.
Only when a new account is created does the app load Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) to fend off automated sign-ups. Your IP address and technical features of your browser are transmitted to Cloudflare (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
11. Recipients and hosting
- Tim Ebner: technical operation and development on our behalf (section 1).
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg: servers in the EU region (Stockholm). The US parent company is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: Turnstile when an account is created (section 10).
- IONOS SE, Montabaur, and Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg (Amazon SES): sending the confirmation e-mail and the newsletter (section 9b).
- pinnry.com (Cards and Supplies): debiting Ink, only once purchases are switched on (section 4).
12. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. For all requests an e-mail to armin.mueller.bayreuth@gmail.com is enough; we forward requests sent to support@beanlings.com. We answer within one month.
Directly in the app (settings, gear at the top):
- Access and data portability: “Download my Booster data” gives you a file (JSON) right away with all data Beanlings Booster stores for your account: cards, boosters with time and source, duels and path duels, league and tournaments, trades, sparks, origin measurement, settings and consents, age confirmation, newsletter and draw participation. Other players appear in it only with their display name or as “anonymous”.
- Erasure: “Delete Booster data” deletes all your data in Beanlings Booster after a double confirmation. Numbers of limited cards stay taken and are never handed out again. We keep purchase records without any link to your account for as long as the law requires. Your Beanlings account stays; you delete the whole account in the Kickoff settings. So that nobody gets welcome boosters several times by deleting, we remember the time of the deletion until you delete your Beanlings account.
- Withdrawal: you can switch off your name on the find wall, your name in leaderboards and the newsletter there at any time; the newsletter can also be cancelled via the link in every issue.
You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
