Field note: Sterli
In the crystal field the light breaks a thousand ways; every step rings like glass.
Today I come across a Sterli — tiny · striped · fins · leaf.
A sprout only stirs once you go completely still yourself — then it stretches, as if it wanted to grow just to watch.
And with a little luck you find an egg where you harvest. Brooded at your tent, a companion hatches from it — it grows as you feed it, and carries a piece of this landscape inside it forever.
If you want to meet one yourself: Crystal Field. It cannot be caught — only won over.
