Field note of the day

In the desert every dune casts a sharp shadow, and the sand sings quietly.

Today I come across a Glimwur — average · dotted · antennae · crystal.

A rooter digs itself in up to its head when threatened. What sticks out of the ground looks like a very serious stone.

And with a little luck you find an egg where you harvest. Brooded at your tent, a companion hatches from it — it grows as you feed it, and carries a piece of this landscape inside it forever.

If you want to meet one yourself: Desert, Volcano. It cannot be caught — only won over.
