Everything about the endless world — answered briefly.
An endless world to explore — right in your browser. You wander through 14 landscapes, harvest finds, watch animals and befriend wild Beanlings. The world is computed from a world seed: the farther you go, the more there is, without end.
Yes, completely. There is nothing to buy with real money — no purchases, no ads, no pay-to-win. Everything in the game is earned by playing.
Open beanlings.com/welt2 in your browser — on your phone or computer, no download. Create a free account and just start walking: the world explains the rest as you go.
No, never. Nothing expires, nothing gets deleted, no creature runs away. What you have collected is yours forever — only duplicate finds can be traded with other players, and only if you choose to.
Seeds are the world’s currency. You earn them by completing collection sets, doing the three daily research tasks, selling duplicate finds to other players and fulfilling their requests. You can spend them in the tent shop on tent colours and pennants, or on the market — progress itself is never for sale.
324 species, each born from an origin palette and a shape family. And every single specimen has its own genome — no two look alike. All species are listed in the public encyclopedia.
Go farther out: the world is divided into rings, and the farther out you search, the rarer the species living there. Some animals also only appear at certain times of day — a morning visit finds different things than one at night.
In two places: the field note of the day is published daily, about the creature of the day. And inside the game, the library keeps growing — multi-chapter books about individual species, with a new one added every night.
In six: German, English, French, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese. You change the language in the game settings; the encyclopedia, the field note and this FAQ are also available in all six.
Yes — the world is built for phones first and runs in the browser, with no app and no download. It works just the same on a computer.
As little as possible. Your position in the world is game coordinates — no GPS, no real location. Whether other players can see you in the world can be turned off in the settings. Everything else is in the privacy policy.
