How to play
Small Beanlings grow on a board of five by six tiles: Bud, Sprout, Drip and many more, each one drawn by hand. Drag a Beanling horizontally or vertically onto an equal one and the two merge into the next tier.
The catch: the path must be clear. A Beanling only travels along its row or column, and other Beanlings block the way. After every move a new one grows, after every fourth move even two. The round ends when the board is full and nothing matches any more.
Chains, sun tiles and spark seeds
Plan ahead, keep space free and build chains: if a Beanling of the same tier lies next to a freshly merged one, it merges on its own, and the points rise with every link. Two sun tiles double the points and then move on. A rare spark seed lifts any Beanling by one tier. Get two Legends and they go home together, making room for more.
Leaderboard and collectible cards
The server recalculates your score from your moves to keep the weekly leaderboard fair. Your name only appears there if you want it to; otherwise you are listed as a collector with a short code.
From tier six it gets exciting: every new best tier unlocks a collectible card of that Beanling for your album once, from the Shroomling to the Goldseed, at most one a day. None of it can be bought, there is no random reward, only your skill counts. Read more about cards and rarities under collecting and in the card gallery.

Is Beanlings Merge free?
Yes. There is nothing to buy and no random reward. You only unlock collectible cards by reaching new best tiers.
When does a round end?
When the board is full and no two equal Beanlings can meet any more. You can also end a round yourself.
What is a chain?
If a Beanling of the same tier lies next to a freshly merged one, it merges on its own. Every extra link brings more points.
Which cards can I unlock?
From tier six, every new best tier unlocks that Beanling's collectible card once, at most one a day.
Can I play on a computer?
Yes, with mouse or keyboard. On a phone one finger is enough, in portrait or landscape.
