Field note: Sand Drifter
In the desert every dune casts a sharp shadow, and the sand sings quietly.
Today I come across a Sand Drifter — large · piebald · horns · crystal.
Drifters never quite touch the ground. Where one has hovered for long, the grass stays unbent even so.
If you want to meet one yourself: Desert. It cannot be caught — only won over.
