Field note of the day

In the mushroom forest the caps glow in the half-dark, and spores drift like dust in the light.

Today I come across a Spore Spike — average · dotted · ears · blossom.

A spike puffs up if you approach too fast. Walk slowly and you can watch the spines soften.

If you want to meet one yourself: Mushroom Forest. It cannot be caught — only won over.
