Field note: Mist Drifter

In the jungle the light hangs in streaks between the vines.

Today I come across a Mist Drifter — large · scaled · horns.

Drifters never quite touch the ground. Where one has hovered for long, the grass stays unbent even so.

If you want to meet one yourself: Jungle, Marshland, Highlands. It cannot be caught — only won over.
