Field note: Leaf Flutterling

Between the trunks of the woodland it smells of resin and damp bark.

Today I come across a Leaf Flutterling — slender · starlets · tail · leaf.

Flutterlings never stay in one spot for long — but they come back if you have left something behind.

If you want to meet one yourself: Woodland. It cannot be caught — only won over.
