Field note: Salt Sprout

On the coast the surf rolls in, and salt glitters between the shells.

Today I come across a Salt Sprout — round · dotted · antennae · sparks.

A sprout only stirs once you go completely still yourself — then it stretches, as if it wanted to grow just to watch.

If you want to meet one yourself: Coast. It cannot be caught — only won over.
