Field note: Bark Drifter
Between the trunks of the woodland it smells of resin and damp bark.
Today I come across a Bark Drifter — slender · plain · crystal.
Drifters never quite touch the ground. Where one has hovered for long, the grass stays unbent even so.
If you want to meet one yourself: Woodland. It cannot be caught — only won over.
